Year three of Economist Conferences' The Bellwether Series: South Korea took place on September 4th in Seoul. An audience of more than 140 South Korea’s senior finance executives participated.

Keynote speakers including Bahk Jae-wan, Minister of Strategy and Finance, Republic of Korea and Kim Seok-dong, Chairman, Financial Services Commission (FSC); South Korea shared their perspectives on the latest South Korea’s financial policies and opportunities amid global uncertainties. A number of other notable financial regulators attended throughout the day including Hoe Ee Khor, Assistant Director, Asia-Pacific Department, International Monetary Fund; Jun Kwang-woo, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, National Pension Service, Republic of Korea; Woon Gyu Choi, Deputy Governor, Bank of Korea; and a live video link with Klaus Regling, Chief Executive Officer, European Financial Stability Facility provided insight on the latest developments in Europe.
